Product Description
2026 VAN RYSEL RCX II CARBON - SHIMANO GRX 12S
Born for the Mud: UCI-Approved Performance in Light Blue.
The RCX II is the next evolution of Van Rysel’s championship-winning cyclocross bike. Featuring significant improvements in mud-shedding technology and a redesigned main triangle for effortless shoulder carrying, this 100% carbon machine is built for the most demanding technical circuits. Responsive, sturdy, and UCI-approved, it is ready to take you to the podium.
Elite CX Race Engineering
- Optimized Mud Shedding: Redesigned junction at the seat tube and stays to prevent mud build-up in extreme conditions.
- Shoulder-Carry Ergonomics: Raised main triangle and adapted head tube shape specifically for easier carrying during run-ups.
- Shimano GRX 12-Speed: A precise, mechanical 1x12 drivetrain designed specifically for the grit and grime of off-road racing.
- Fulcrum Rapid Red 900 Wheels: Durable, asymmetric aluminum wheels with a 22mm inner width, built to handle high weight limits (120kg).
- Vittoria Terreno Mix Tyres: High-performance 33mm tyres with a 120 TPI carcass for versatile grip across varying terrains.

Cyclocross Race Maintenance
- Brake Bed-in: Perform 20 gradual stops at 20 km/h, then repeat at 30 km/h before your first race to ensure full braking power.
- Tubeless Setup: We strongly recommend riding tubeless with sealant (60ml per tyre) for improved comfort and puncture protection.
- Service Intervals: Due to harsh CX conditions, clean and lubricate the drivetrain more frequently. Average chain life is ~4000 km.
- Gravel Use: While excellent for cross-country, this bike lacks pannier rack mounts and is not reinforced for heavy loading.
*Note: Pedals are not included. Frame weight is measured for size M. Hydraulic system should be bled by a professional if the lever becomes soft.
