Cyclocross Race Maintenance

  • Intensive Care: CX bikes are subject to harsh conditions. We recommend checking drivetrain and bearing tightness after every muddy ride.
  • Brake Bed-in: Essential for performance. Perform 20 gradual stops at 20 km/h, then repeat at 30 km/h before your first race.
  • Wireless Battery: The rear derailleur uses a removable external battery. Ensure it is fully charged via the SRAM AXS charger before riding.
  • Gravel Compatibility: While capable of light trails, the RCX II is a race-specific bike and lacks mount points for panniers or heavy mudguards.
